BIOGRAPHY

Jianfeng Cai is the Julie Harmon Endowed Chair, Preeminent and Distinguished University Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of South Florida. He is a leading researcher in peptidomimetics, having developed a novel class of foldameric compounds known as AApeptides for biomolecular targeting applications.

Jianfeng is also the co-founder of MolAIcule, Inc., bridging academic discovery and commercial translation. His research focuses on designing and optimizing peptidomimetic architectures that offer new pathways for targeted drug development, molecular innovation, and next-generation therapeutic platforms.
