Dr. Octávio Franco is the Co-Founder of Peptidus Biotech and the Professor of Biotechnology at the Universidade Católica Dom Bosco. A leading researcher in peptide chemistry and biotechnology, he develops novel bioproducts and bioprocesses to control pathogenic microorganisms and advance health innovation.

Octávio has published more than 400 scientific articles and holds nearly 30 patents, including products now commercialised internationally. His work bridges academia and entrepreneurship, driving biotechnology solutions for pharmaceuticals, animal health, and sustainable innovation.
